We stayed with the Newcombes for two nights after having problems the night before getting a room in whole Maine, since there were a lot of things going on the night before. We arrived there after spending about 6 hours looking for a place to stay. They had nothing left either but were amazing helpful in getting for us a place to stay. The next day we went back and stayed for two nights in the "Crows Nest". The room is two divided with a bedroom and a small living room, everything is in there what you need to feel away from home at home. But the nicest thing is the balcony with ocean view- especially if you have a nice sunrise like we had one of the two days. They give breakfast vouchers for two nice places near by (1 to 2 mile(s)). They both own the very cosy pub next door- The Whales Tooth Pub, with a real fireplace and sometimes a musician drops by. We had excellent food there and the beer selection is very good, too!!!

What a great bed and breakfast! The building has been lovingly restored and has historical charm with all of the modern conveniences you could ask for. Our one bedroom suite consisted of a queen sized bedroom, a separate sunken seating area and a well sized bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. The room had AC but we didn't need it in early September. Lincolnville is ideally situated to explore Mid-coast Maine, we particularly liked going to the nearby towns of Camden and Belfast. Also, the restaurant next door (Whale's Tooth Pub - same owners) is excellent. Last but certainly not least, the owners are such nice people and made us feel so welcome! We can't wait to return.

Stopped for the night on our way to Bar Harbor and found it using Google. What a surprise. We stayed in the Timber wind room which was a quaint small suit with a queen bed. It was great!!! Nothing fancy, but just right. The owner meet us outside and after unloading the car we filled out the paper work at the Whale's Tooth. Of all the places that we stayed during our trip to Maine....this one was the one that will stick with me.

We would definitely go there again and would recommend everybody to go there!!!
